5 Common Mistakes that are ruining your progress with KETO

Most often it's the littlest things that we do daily that we would not even think would effect our progress on KETO. Think about every single thing that you put into your mouth and I mean EVERYTHING ! #5 May Shock you!
  1. Gum (Even if it is sugar free, it should still be chewed sparingly) Even things that say 0 carbs might actually have almost 1 carb or 1g of sugar in them, because they have less than zero they are allowed to put 0. So that Pack of gum you are chewing a day could end up being 10g of Carbs. Also, chewing gum actually causes hunger. The act of chewing gets your digestive juices flowing expecting food that never comes leaving you hungry and unsatisfied. The process of chewing also causes you to take in air which will lead to bloating.
  2. Mints (See above for all the same reasons, suck on these sparingly) Like 1-2 per day max
  3. Medicine Flu season is upon us so it is very important to be aware of all medicine that you take when you are sick, this includes, cough drops, Cough syrup, Liquid medicine of any kind, chewables etc. They should all be avoided. Contain Tons of Carbs and Sugar. The worst kind too High Fructose corn syrup!! Stick to medicine in pill form only (No Chewables)
  4. Vitamins Gummy Vitamins are all the rage right now, unfortunately they contain carbs and sugar. Ive seen up to 5 grams of sugar for 2 small Gummy Vitamins. Also the vitamin powders that you mix with water also contain hidden carbs and sugar. Even if there are no nutrition facts on the pkg, Anything that you "taste" likely contains some sort of sweetener. Stick to Vitamins in pill form that require you to swallow with water.
  5. SEMEN Yup, I said it...I had to because there are likely at least  some of you out there engaging in this practice and unknowingly sabotaging your progress with KETO. Semen contains fructose, which will kick you right out of ketosis.  (Be respectful when commenting, this is for informational purposed only)
Perhaps your progress has stalled or you are unable to get that keto reading higher, hopefully one or 2 of these items gave you that AHA moment you've been looking for! If you are consuming any of the 5 items mentioned above chances are it is hindering your progress, stop what you are doing and watch what happens!!
​If you have been kicked out of ketosis, the quickest way to get back in is to take a scoop of Exogenous Ketones (Up to 3x per day) I prefer Keto Base from Perfect Keto. & get right back to Keto eating.

What about number 5. The semen one. Semen on keto. I'm new to it just started....ummm basically is the semen of a guy that's on keto more keto friendly then if he wasnt...? Please dont be rude or nasty I been with the same and only guy fir 4 years. Anyway hes been on strict keto for o er a month ....I however just started and it was a concern that popped into my head...

I don't think it would have much difference, honestly. Even if he doesn't injest a big amount of sugar, your body breaks down most things into sugars that flow through your body. So even though he's on a keto diet, it doesn't matter because his body is going to create those sugars anyway and release them in semen.
